Land of Iron is an interpretation scheme developed for The North York Moors National Park by The Creative Core. It takes visitors and walkers through the fascinating story of the iron mining boom of the 19th century in the North York Moors. The external interpretation scheme runs across the national park helping visitors engage with this lost industrial heritage.
